Formerly a Board Member at an Asian specialist bank based in Lisbon, he currently serves as an independent investment banking advisor. Holding a degree in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, he began his career at Merrill Lynch in London in 1998, where he held various analyst roles, ultimately advancing to Director in asset management with responsibility for Portuguese market coverage.
In 2005, he became Director at Fidelity, where he was tasked with establishing the Portuguese office. By 2009, he founded an independent consultancy firm, collaborating with firms such as Robeco, Credit Agricole, and Dimensional, before moving on to become Managing Partner at ASK-a multi-family office with locations in Lisbon, Sao Paulo, Luanda, and Macao. Later, he served as Vice President of AICEP, Portugal's trade and investment government agency, reporting directly to the Vice Prime Minister.
